Employer: execute.dk - interim position at EEA
Job start: Continuously
Place of work: EEA - Kongens Nytorv

Job description
From January 2011, the European Environment Agency (EEA) and execute.dk have entered into an agreement on finding interim staff for the agency’s headquarters, placed at Kongens Nytorv in the centre of Copenhagen.

We have many kinds of interim positions with EEA and for all of them English is a must, as this is the cooperate language. Most of the interim positions vary from a month to 6 months of duration. Mostly we are looking for secretaries and administrative personnel. But from time to time we also have open interim positions as receptionists, IT supporters, financial assistants and more.

Demands to the Secretarial profile:
As a secretary your job is to provide secretarial and administrative support within a program or group of the EEA. Your main working tasks will be:
  • Reception, registration, distribution and follow up of correspondence
  • Organisation of missions, including travel arrangements and accommodation
  • Organisation of meetings, conferences and events
  • Drafting and editing of texts
  • Filing and archiving
  • Other general secretarial tasks

Requirements:
We expect that you have successfully completed an advanced level of secondary education, preferably in the field of administration. Furthermore it is an advantage if you have previous experience in secretarial and administrative support functions.

Qualifications:
Very good knowledge of the main office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is a necessity. You are especially familiar with PowerPoint and Outlook; both email and calendar functions. Knowledge of databases is advantageous. Also a very good command of both written and spoken English is mandatory. Other official EU languages would be an asset.

Apply:
If you want to work for the environment, the first step to applying for a temporary position is to upload your profile, where you are to answer several questions regarding yourself. You should also upload your CV, so we can read more about your prior experiences. If you are interested in applying for an interim position with EEA, please go to http://execute.dk/eea/ as soon as possible and fill in your details – the more details, the better we can search and easily get in contact with you the next time we have a vacant position with EEA.
