Establishing first work-contact with Danes
Writing your first mail to somebody you don't know is a bit tricky. Will it be seen as spam, will it be seen intrusive, will the contained message reach the people at all? In this article we will look into what to do and what not to do in Denmark when contacting somebody for the first time in regards to work-related topics. This can refer to situations when you are looking for a job, when you approach somebody in regards to networking, when you contact a potential customer. In all three cases you want people to read your mail.

Q&A sessions about work in DenmarkTeacher lock-out
As the trade union of the teachers and the kommunes could not agree on the amount of time to be allocated for preparing classes, teachers wanted to go on strike. In response, the central organisations of the kommunes has decided to lock out the teachers who are members of the teachers trade union. This refers also to language schools. Are you or your children affected? What does this mean for your private situation? What do you think about this conflict?
