ForeignersInDenmark
Dear friend,
spring is slowly but clearly coming. While I still wear my cosy (in Danish terms: hyggelig) jacket, I can see people walking around already in T-shirts. They clearly lead the way. Last week we pointed on our facebook-page to the Sagura festival in Copenhagen. I hope you made it there and could enjoy the festival and the weather. Stay up-to-date with activities and interesting information happening around.

Courses in English for finding work
For those who cannot find work, various organizations offer now courses also in English. The intention of the courses is to make the participants more fit for the Danish labor market, to educate them on how they can turn their knowledge about the country they come from and their native language into an asset for the Danish economy.

Meet the Worktrotter-volunteers
Nicola StrandToday it is Nicola Strand's turn to be introduce as one of our great volunteers. She is from London, UK and has moved to Denmark in 2012 with her Danish husband. Nicola's professional background is in marketing and with her experience she helps us to make the Worktrotter-newsletters more powerful - in the same way as she has done in her previous job. At the moment she studies Danish intensively four times a week and is involved in an e-commerce project which is in very early stages, where she primarily provides marketing consultation.

Would you like to join the volunteer team? Right now, we are running an online / off-line marketing initiative. You will get great chances to learn about online research, Search Engine Optimization and online marketing. No up-front marketing knowledge required - only a strong motivation and an interest in writing in your native language or English.
