Volunteering: Communications in Denmark

We would like to involve motivated people with good English language skills for Worktrotter communications activities. It would be great if you had knowledge in communications but we can involve also people who don't have these skills but who are active and like to interact with new people. Activities can be done remotely and we can communication via Skype.

The focus of the tasks is to  actively get in touch with groups, organizations, companies and other where a cooperation will be mutually beneficial. You will be able to research various aspects of life and work in Denmark, analyse them and write articles which will be published on the Worktrotter Website and in Worktrotter publications. By using the power of the social media possibilities you will help to spread the Worktrotter-information in the community and make it more visible on the Internet.

From our volunteers we expect a great interest in the international community in Denmark and how to make the settling process of newcomers easier. Your tasks will be varied and we welcome your ideas and suggestions. The participants in the volunteering activities are working independently in the time they have available to spend on Worktrotter-activities.Participation in this program requires independent research, independent thinking, taking initiative and coming up with ideas on topics and solutions. We will guide you on what to do and how, we will show you how you can improve your work and your work will become more powerful as you go.

In return for your support we give you guidance in regards to cultural aspects in Denmark, such that when you apply for a job you don't make the common cultural mistakes and there reduce your chances of being chosen as the best fit for the job. We can endorse you on LinkedIn and give feedback to your work. We can help you to increase your professional network and can act as reference for your job search. Your volunteering activities with Worktrotter can be the first possibility to gain a reference in Denmark.
