Dear reader,
welcome back from the summer break. Hope you had a wonderful time and that you could enjoy the gorgeous weather.

Problems with housing in Denmark
Finding rooms and apartments in DenmarkYou can see many people searching for rooms and apartments right now and many have a hard time. See our list of links with housing Webpages where you can look and hopefully find a place to stay.
However, having found a place to live is the first step. See what to pay attention to before signing the contract.
In any case: Beware of scammers! If you are asked for “key deposit”, to transfer money through Western Union, or asked for money up front - it's most certainly a scam!

Knowing workculture is more important than...
...knowing the language. This was the title of an article last week in videnskab.dk based on research at the Copenhagen University. Already the mode in which you behave in the interview gives an inkling if you DOs and DON'Ts in Danish workplace culturewould do well in a company's team and influences the company's decision.
In the book Business-Dances wit Danes you will find many suggestions for your job search, what is important in an interview, and what is important when you deal with your Danish colleagues.
Feedback from Lauren: I have bought and read both the worktrotter books and they are both fantastic and were extremely helpful to my husband and I when we moved to Denmark a year ago.
