As administrative assistant ( 20hours ) to the Head of a newly established Consortium for Global Talent, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a large network of people in an interesting setting.

The Consortium for Global Talent is a joint collaboration between large Danish or internationally based companies in Denmark. The Consortium will be hosted with member companies in yearly turns, starting with A.P. Møller-Maersk, Copenhagen in 2010. The Consortium will coordinate and act on mutual challenges encountered by member companies when attracting and retaining global talent, it will provide support to the companies and liaise with all other players involved in employment of global professionals.

We are looking for a service minded colleague with good administrative and secretarial skills. You will assist – and be focal point for the Head of the Consortium for Global Talent regarding communication tasks and will have daily contact with a large network of people both internally and externally. You will gain responsibility in your work which you are expected to manage independently.
Your primary tasks will be to assist with administrative matters such as;
  • Correspondence with internal and external contacts , including the Executive Board of the Consortium
  • Preparation of documents and meeting material
  • Booking and coordination of meetings
  • Practical and administrative ad hoc tasks including accounting
As a person you are mature, self-motivating with strong communication skills. You are service minded and able to quickly adjust to new assignments and resolve these professionally and with attention to details. Additionally, you have good interpersonal skills, allowing you to interact with people at different levels as well as manage multiples tasks at the same time. You should be highly proficient in oral and written English and preferably in other languages such as Spanish or French. Danish is not a prerequisite. Multinational experience from having lived and/or worked in different countries is considered an asset together with experience from a similar position e.g. as Executive Secretary.

We offer you an international setting with one of the most important issues of the agenda of tomorrow – global talent and ways in which these can be attracted and retained in Denmark. Through your work you will get the opportunity to establish a large network within ministries, public authorities, embassies, employers´ organizations, expatriates networks, international organizations and non-profit entities.

Summary
Application deadline is 15 January 2010
Commencement date ; as soon as possible
