The covering (application/motivation) letter is future oriented, 1 page
Make your application demonstrate a red thread
Profile yourself. You’re highly qualified in something but not an expert in everything!
Check your Facebook identity
Don’t mention: Your religion, political opinion, sexual orientation, your parents’ and spouse’s job titles
Don’t use a Hotmail account – it often ends up as spam
